Which were the best concept vehicles introduced at Easter Jeep Safari 2023?

One of our favorite events to read about year after year is the annual Easter Jeep Safari. The event traces its roots all the way back to 1967, when the first one – at that time just a one-day outing – was hosted by the Moab Chamber of Commerce. Through the decades, the event has blossomed into a huge enthusiast event that’s now hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheeler Club and takes place over several days filled with day-long trail rides and fun in the Moab, Utah, area. While the event itself sounds incredible, our favorite part is the incredible concept vehicles that Jeep itself often brings to and unveils at the event. Now that the Easter Jeep Safari 2023 is in the books, we thought we’d give you a glimpse at all seven concept vehicles introduced this year and highlight the three that were, in our opinion, the very best.

Jeep Wrangler Magneto 3.0 Concept

As the name suggests, this is the third time Jeep has introduced a Magneto concept vehicle. Each one has been an attempt to test the limits of electrification in a Jeep 4×4 vehicle, and this one is no different. Thanks to a driver selection feature, this vehicle allows its driver to shift from the standard 285 horsepower up to a maximum of 650 hp. What a beast of a Jeep Wrangler.

Jeep Scrambler 392 Concept

True Jeep enthusiasts might recognize the Scrambler name, as it was actually the brand’s first compact and convertible pickup truck introduced back in ‘81. This awesome concept delivers 470 horsepower and pound-feet of torque thanks to a 6.4L HEMI V8, but the first thing you might notice are its fantastic 40” tires around 20” wheels.

1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept

One thing Jeep often does at the Easter Safari is mix in a restoration/modification combination to its concept vehicle roster. This year, that was the 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept, which started out with a true classic Jeep Cherokee from ‘78 and was restored and modified to the beautiful hybrid 4xe Concept you see right here.

Additional Models

While these three were certainly our favorite models, there were four other concepts introduced. These models included the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Concept, the Grand Wagoneer Overland Concept, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Departure Concept and the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Sideburn Concept. All seven models were simply awesome, as you can see right here on this blog.
