Chrysler Pacifica minivan features a choice of two powerful, efficient, and advanced powertrains – the segment’s first hybrid vehicle, and the next generation of the award-winning Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine generating 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This engine is attached to a segment-exclusive TorqueFlite nine-speed automatic transmission that combines performance with efficiency and refinement. The hybrid variant of this engine produces 260 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) for added efficiency and smoothness.

Gas mileage for the gasoline engine is rated at 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway making it fuel efficient for a vehicle of its size. The Pacifica Hybrid, the industry’s first electrified minivan, will deliver an estimated range of 32 miles solely on zero-emissions electric power from a 16-kWh lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery. In city driving, it is expected to achieve an efficiency rating of 82 MPGe based on U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards. Best of all, the combination gasoline hybrid format gives this minivan a driving range of up to 520 miles!

All gas-powered Pacifica are offered with all-wheel drive (AWD) drivetrains. The available AWD system helps drivers maintain control when traction is less than ideal. This way, Pacifica can send 100% of the power to the rear wheels when loss of front wheel traction occurs. Wet roads, snowy roads, muddy roads, gravel roads, and more can be conquered with ease utilizing the AWD system.

Inside, an enhanced clear air filtration system helps keep the cabin air fresh and free from dust, smoke, droplets and aerosols. For quick cleanup, the Stow ‘n Vac integrated vacuum, located in the C-pillar trim area makes for easy access to all corners of the vehicle.

The 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen is set flush with the instrument panel for a clean, technical look. With a glossy screen surface that allows for higher contrast, the touchscreen feels futuristic and in line with other modern devices, like a tablet. Two mobile phones can be connected to the Uconnect 5 system simultaneously, Uconnect 5 works seamlessly with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. And Pacifica is the first minivan ever to offer USB Type-C ports, allowing devices to be charged up to four times faster than standard USB outlets.
