Highlighted Updates & New Features

One of the most obvious ways that Jeep has increased the capabilities of the Wrangler for 2024 comes in a handful of available features found on the Rubicon trim level. In this year’s Rubicon model, you’ll be able to opt for a factory-installed Warn winch with a capacity of 8,000 pounds, but the model will come not only with a 100:1 crawl ratio but a new Dana 44 HD full-float solid rear axle. This new rear axle will allow customers to upsize their tires if they so wish, plus gives the Wrangler Rubicon an impressive trailering capacity of up to 5,000 lbs. The Willys trim level has received a few updates as well, including bigger tires, higher ground clearance and more.

Although it doesn’t affect the capabilities of the Wrangler at all, one of the most exciting updates across the board is the model’s brand-new take on the legendary seven-slot grille found on every Jeep vehicle. Other enhancements found across the range of Wrangler models include a stealth antenna integrated right into the windshield, nearly a dozen new wheel designs to choose from and a host of options when it comes to how you open your Wrangler to the air. One such new option is the Sky One-Touch powertop.

Oh, and on top of the Rubicon and Willys trim levels being updated, Jeep decided to add two completely new trim levels to the list of available models. The first is called the Wrangler Sport S 4xe, which provides a more affordable option for those shoppers looking to electrify their Wrangler. The second is called Rubicon X, which figuratively takes the Rubicon trim level up to 11 by adding standard 35” tires, an integrated off-road camera and steel bumpers.
