What is the Lunar Edition?

It may never make it to the moon, but the Lunar Edition proves more than capable here on earth. Even on the roughest terrain, the Ram 1500 TRX is equipped to handle whatever you throw at it. The Lunar Edition comes with additional performance features that make it ready for anything, starting with the 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 engine – and that’s just the start. It delivers a whopping 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, easily taking you to nearly any destination. When combined with the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, that makes for a top speed of 118 MPH and 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds.

In addition to heart-stopping Ram power and performance, the Lunar Edition has looks that match. It gets a wider stance – 8 inches wider – with wider fenders, a spray-on bedliner, cargo tie-down hooks, and a bed step. Inside, a dual pane panoramic sunroof lets the moonlight shine on the carbon fiber accents, uniquely-designed center console, and leather and carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel. Adding to the dominating appearance, the interior is finished with surf blue accent stitching on Alcantara suede center console, doors, seating, and dash.  Carbon fiber details carry to the exterior, which is finished in an exclusive Ceramic Gray exterior, with Lunar Edition graphics at the hood and bed of the truck.

The Lunar Edition is also available for the Rebel, adding options for Ram buyers to have a customized truck that combines exclusive styling with classic 1500 performance.
