Dodge Earns Top Brand Recognition From J.D. Power
Each year, J.D. Power conducts its Automotive Performance Execution and Layout Study, otherwise known as APEAL. The APEAL study looks at customer feedback regarding their vehicles, rating vehicles based on a wide range of factors to help determine how happy they are with their first three months of ownership.
For 2022, we have some familiar news to share. That’s because Dodge was ranked first for mass-market brands for the third year in a row. No other domestic brand has achieved such a feat. Meanwhile, the Jeep brand saw a massive increase in its APEAL score this year, with the largest jump of any mass-market brand out there. This was due in large part to the success of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, which earned top spots in the large premium SUV and large SUV categories, respectively.
What to Expect From These Top APEAL Study Vehicles?
When it comes to Dodge, you have three different vehicles to choose from that helped the brand earn such prestigious recognition. The Dodge Charger, starting at an MSRP of $32,500 and offering 797 horsepower, the Dodge Challenger, starting at an MSRP of $30,825 and offering 807 horsepower, and the Dodge Durango, an SUV with a starting MSRP of $37,760 and seating for up to 7 people.
On the other side is the Wagoneer, with a starting MSRP of $58,995. It’s an elevated rendition of the Wagoneer you grew up with, delivering premium amenities inside and out. The Grand Wagoneer has a starting MSRP of $88,640 and ups the ante even further with ultra-luxurious features like American walnut trim and suede-wrapped cabin pillars.
