The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, for Best Environmental Performance and Best All-around Performance

The Automotive Science Group (ASG) announced their 2018 Automotive Performance Index on environmental and economic performance. Here, the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid was awarded top honors in the Environmental Performance category; it was also named the best All-around Performance winner.

Each vehicle the ASG evaluates is carefully assessed for its overall environmental impact. ASG assessed total energy and emissions quantitatively for each vehicle, including

raw material extraction and material production
vehicle component manufacturing and assembly
vehicle shipping distribution.
They also assessed total energy and emissions quantitatively for fuel production, distribution and use.

“With 84 MPGe, the Pacifica Hybrid reveals new possibilities for fuel economy gains and emission reductions, earning the Pacifica Hybrid ASG’s coveted Best Environmental Performance award,” Colby Self, Managing Director of ASG said.
